Welcome, and thank you for visiting our web page! We are a parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia located in Waterville, Maine.
We are a Western Rite parish under the Omophorion of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion. This means that we serve the western liturgies that have been approved for use as a canonical Orthodox Church under ROCOR.
We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be an intentional community of Orthodox Christians reaching out to others with the saving message of the Gospels and the grace given to His Church to bring a light into the world. The Great Commission is to go out into all the world and to make disciples of all the nations. This we believe, affirm and practice.

About the Western Rite
The Western Rite of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia is a concerted effort to reach out to Western Christians in a manner that is thoroughly Orthodox but is also familiar to the tradition(s) that they may be coming from.
To accomplish this, the Western Rite Communities have sought to re-establish the Western Church as it existed prior to the Great Schism of AD 1054.
